Flows to play
- A hospital’s orderA 420-bed hospital orders 40 cases of nitrile gloves, from the 850 to the cash applied 30 days later. Order to cash: from the hospital’s 850 through the hubs, ECC, the WMS and the carrier, to the 856, the 810 and the lockbox.
- The stock file is lateTuesday 13 October 2026: the nightly stock file lands at 07:40 instead of 03:30. A late file: from the WMS’s long cycle count to the web store’s stale stock, 312 backordered lines and 260 calls.
- Stock, as it happensAfter the cutover, one pick changes the web store’s stock within seconds. The cutover: the WMS publishes a stock event and the web store reads it, with no nightly file to wait for.
